Romama apartment restaurant, Tomor

The Tomori Roma community of Siroki Laci and his family stopped operating their apartment restaurant during Covid. Our goal was to support them in reopening. We used donations to upgrade the infrastructure, and they built a new toilet with the proceeds from the dinner. The dishes were inspired by the Tomori community, the season, and local ingredients. The event sparked a dialogue and collaboration between the local government and the Roma community after 18 years.
